Hi Wanto!

I wanted to share a testimonial for your website.  Here it is:

When I started to plan my dream trip to Indonesia, I didn’t know how to make it happen.  Wanto, you were so helpful in always answering my many questions so promptly, and in helping me to meet our long-lost relatives — the orangutans!   Thank you so much for not only helping me to make a lifelong dream come true, but for all of your hospitality and kindness while I was visiting your beautiful country — especially for losing sleep to meet and transfer me to and from the airport, and for even going above and beyond and bringing all of that tea for me from the market! Your concern and dedication to the orangutans is also evident, and nice to see.

The orangutans were just as friendly as you were!  Now that I am home in Los Angeles, I still can’t believe my photographs from the experience.  Seeing them at Camp Leakey, and at the Pangkalan Bun clinic were both life-changing experiences, and I am determined to return and see them again.  Hopefully I can get others here interested in their plight for survival as well.

Shady was fantastic during my Banjarmasin and Loksado visit also.

He’s full of energy, and gave me so much information about all of the sites — the floating market, the water buffalo, the plants and animals of Loksado, the history of the areas.  He also went beyond our itinerary and took me to some other places that he thoug ht I might like.  Aside from that, he was really fun to be around and laugh with in the car and on the boats.  He and his friend Kamay even took me to an internet cafe after their obligated time with me, saying, “You have no friends in Indonesia, so we are now your friends.”  Fabulous!  He really looked after me.

I can’t thank you enough, and I look forward to sending others to you, Wanto.  More than that, I look forward to coming back and exploring more places in Indonesia very soon — it would take 5 lifetimes to see it all.
